Southern California N Scale Meet and Train Show

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Frank Hinojosa, I’m a member of Belmont Shore Model Railroad Club in San Pedro, CA., and Group 160 N-Trak Club in Los Angeles, CA. I have created a special event called Southern California N Scale Meet and Train Show, just for N Scale model train lovers and the public, and I've sent invitations to clubs in Southern California. To share details about the event, I created a website (https://socalnscale.com/) where people can find all the information they need. I believe this will become an annual gathering that helps us promote our hobby to the public and strengthens our N Scale community. I am excited to see everyone come together to share our passion for model trains!

As promised on ZoomTRAK, the NRail Mini Diorama Guide is now available for download. You may print copies and distribute to your fellow club members. You may also post on you club website, but be sure to note the source. To be sure you have the latest version, it is best to post the link rather than the actual document.

The NMRA has recently announced a reduction in space available for the National Train Show in Long Beach California this year.

If you still want to attend and be part of a large NTRAK, Free-moN or T-TRAK layout in the Western United States, the Evanston, WY Operations N-Scale Weekend on July 24-28 still has plenty of room for layouts, especially NTRAK and T-TRAK.

The Cost to attend is $50 for the entire weekend. We will have clinics on a variety of topics, door prizes, tours of Union Pacific's former shop facilities.

If you are bringing a module we are offering a 20% discount on your registration fee. Please mention this post in the registration question about how you heard about E24. (Discount ends May 31st) Register now to attend at www.nscalemeet.info

NTS is now history

This was the first time that all three major module standards were connected: Free-moN to helix down to NTRAK to helix down to T-TRAK. 224 modules, the red line was about 34 scale miles. It took over an hour to run the full layout on the red line.

Conventions next year

It isn't too early to start thinking about the conventions next year. There is the National N Scale Convention in Reno (2023 N Scale Convention (nationalnscaleconvention.com) and the National Model Railroad Association Convention in Grapevine (https://www.2023texasexpress.com/). If you are thinking about taking part, you can send your request to layout@nrail.org.

If you are a member or you have ordered items from us in the past and this is your first time logging in, here are some instructions to follow to help you with the process.

First, you follow this link to request a password be sent to your email. Use the email address that we use to send messages to you, enter the code from the grey box and push Submit. An email will be sent to you so you can set your password.

Once you get that email you should be able to follow the directions to set your password.

If the link above didn't take you to the Reset password page, there is a longer way to get there. You start by selecting Log in from the upper right of the page.

Next, you select Forgot password below the Email and Password boxes. That will take you to the page that was shown at the beginning of this post.
